Elysium Gates Inc. provides the general internet public a place to build and maintain a quality site. A quality site is informative or educational, personal or business, creative or themed. We nurture quality sites with responsible content, providing for fellowship among users, promoting a sense of unity and belonging, and fostering a spirit of camaraderie and community between both its members and its staff.

Elysium Gates is committed to individualized and caring helpful support for all members and to promote individual growth and potential. Further we believe it is not enough to be "good"... one must be "good for something"; therefore, we are also committing part of our profits into activities that can make the world a better place. 

Elysium Gates is a paid service. There is a monthly fee to sign up for web space. We feel this is an advantage over the "free" servers in that we don't need to put unsightly or unwanted banners on your work in order to earn revenue. It also guarantees that the "banner free" space agreement can never be modified or changed because we are free from advertising sponsors. Further, with this system, we can fully focus on working with our members to create a harmonious cyber space environment. We will dedicate our time to provide individualized attention and the energy "with you" to weave caring and purpose into the net. 

We may run some banners on our server pages (not your rented space or pages). Generally these will be 'public service' or 'community service' type messages, with some advertising banners from our business area members. 

We have six principles which guide the administration of the site and adhere rigorously to them. They are:
 

 1. Create space for quality, socially responsible, educational and informative personal web sites.

 2. Create space for quality, socially responsible commercial web sites.

 3. Create a support structure for a caring community and a high level of interaction among members and the greater 'net' community.

 4. Provide individualized and caring helpful support for all residents. Promote individual growth and potential.

 5. Establish a non-profit corporation (Elysium Gates Foundation) demonstrating a corroborative commitment to making the world a better place.

 6. Financially commit 10% of profits into Elysium Gates Foundation. The Foundation creates:

•  scholarships
•  promotion of the arts
•  support for community charitable causes (voted on by area)
•  emergency funds for individuals and families
•  the promotion of volunteerism
