In its modern usage, the word "oracle" is used to describe either a prophet inspired by spiritual forces, or to describe a particular prophesy. In
ancient Greece, the oracle was a place where these divinely-inspired prophesies of the future
were passed down to mortals.
At Elysium Gates "oracles" is the term used for the
volunteer of a subject area that helps answer member questions and helps plan member
activities. Each Oracle is associated with a Greek god/goddess and bears their name
(such as Oracle of Dionysos). Their
Leader is Pegasus.
Giving back, helping others, participating.. these are things that Elysium Gates, Inc strongly
believes in and therefore we make every effort to encourage and support those of like mind
through a variety of volunteer programs that are administrated by the Foundation.
